Discovery Agents
AI-powered pharmaceutical research agents for target identification, indication expansion, and mechanism analysis
About Discovery Agents
Discovery Agents help pharmaceutical researchers understand global research activity, identify competitive landscapes, and discover research opportunities.
Target Identification
Find biological targets responsible for disease conditions
Research Questions:
- What are the new targets for [disease]?
- Which targets are most validated for [condition]?
- What is the competitive landscape for [target]?
Coming Soon - Work Item 4
Indication Expansion
Discover new therapeutic uses for existing drugs and targets
Research Questions:
- What are new indications for [drug/target]?
- Which indications is [target] associated with?
- What is the evidence level for [indication]?
Coming Soon - Work Item 4
Mechanism Analysis
Understand mechanisms of action and biological pathways
Research Questions:
- What are the mechanisms of [drug class] in [outcome]?
- How does [target] affect [pathway]?
- What pathways are involved in [condition]?
Coming Soon - Work Item 4
Key Features

Implementation Status
Discovery Agents are currently under development as part of Work Item 4. These agents will be implemented as entAIngine processes that accept user research queries and return structured JSON results for display in an Elicit-style multi-view interface.
Future integration: These agents will be available as skills within the HiveMind-1-Life chat agent for orchestrated multi-step research workflows.
